Alfa Spider – 1969

At the end of 1969 the Spider was radically revised. Most striking is the straight rear, that’s where the Coda Tronca got it’s name from. The Spider is still based on the 105-Giulia. The 1600 and 2000cc models after 1975 are based on the 115 series, Giulia Nuova. Many USA models are currently being imported to the Netherlands. These spiders often suffer less from rust, but are not as attractive as the European versions. The USA models have different technology with a Spica injection system and catalyst. The USA models also have less power than the European variant. The value of USA models is therefore usually lower.
